A buddy of mine was in an accident the other day. Although he suffered a broken rib, partially collapsed lung, and a fractured pelvis he will have a full recovery.

The difficulties:

He has two young children that want to run and play quite a bit.
He likes to play quite a bit.
He's also an avid runner and dancer.

With his current injuries I'm afraid that he wont be putting any miles on his new running/dance shoes anytime soon. I do know that he will take every precaution to make sure that his recovery is as seamless as possible.

The upside:
I am going to let you in on a little known secret. He's also an avid dancer and choreographer. He's worked with Paula Abdul, Madonna, and Cristina Aguilera to name a few.
