What? The Black Experiment

Really. It's taken black folks this long to figure out what the Europeans have been doing for a thousand years. Figure out how to empower themselves!!!

GREAT WORK. this is exactly what has to happen for anyone, black or white, or purple to rise above the lure of "easy money".

The reason that (non-black) family businesses have thrived in urban communities is because it's run by the whole family. Always has and always will. Unfortunately this is the same reason that black folks burn down the community in which they live. They have had no stake in it. That's not the case anymore. Hopefully.

Typical work day for the family owned business.
5AM to 2PM Dad
8:30AM to 3PM Mom After dropping the kids at school
3PM Dads back. Can't leave the kids unattended
4PM to 5:30 Mom makes dinner, laundry, irons etc. (she may do more than the dad)
4PM to 7PM kids. Usually the oldest does the work and the youngest stares at the ceiling. Nope. the youngest gets the crap work, like stocking shelves. I remember being a cashier at Dominick's. Stock-boy was a promotion!!!
Close-Dad. Someone has to count the till while mom reads prayers and tucks the babies into bed.

Just stick to the same ideals long enough and we can all truly realize that socialism and or handouts have held us back.
